Modalities of activities for primary education

Our workshops are designed to be adapted to the initial, middle and upper cycle of primary education. Although the same animals participate, the explanations and activities are adjusted to the age of the students so that they are meaningful and motivating.

A dynamic classroom encounter to get up close and personal with Catalan wild animals and discover how they live, what they eat and how they adapt to their environment. Students will experience biodiversity in a close and exciting way.

Duration: 1 hour

Species: 8 wild and domestic animals

Thematic focus: Nocturnal animals of the forest

Students will discover discreet and nocturnal animals from Catalan forests. They will understand how they adapt, what they eat and their importance for the natural balance.

It encourages curiosity about less visible fauna and respect for the biodiversity of Catalonia.

The Falcons

Duration: 1 hour

Species: 7 native wild animals

Thematic focus: Birds of prey, adaptations and food chain

A participatory session where students observe birds of prey in flight, ask questions and reflect on the food chain and its role in Catalonia.

Makes it easier for your students to understand the food web and adaptations of native animals.

The owls

Duration: 1 hour

Species: 8 species (owls and related mammals)

Thematic focus: Functions and adaptations of nocturnal raptors

We focus on owls: what makes them unique, how they adapt to nightlife and their habitat, and what ecological challenges they face.

Thematic focus: Understanding an indigenous species in depth

With this workshop, students will directly explore the life of an emblematic species of Catalonia: the fox.

The guided tour allows students to meet all the animals that live in the wildlife refuge. It lasts 1 hour.

The «Petting zoo» for schools is a fun and educational workshop for all ages. Students will meet 10 protected wild animals.
